The nation wide organization started by the influential Christian activists and entrepreneur, Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA (TPUSA), has exploded with new members since his death. The group mobilizes young, anti-woke people to engage in reintroducing the traditional, classical Western values.
Since his assassination on September 13th, interest for Charlie Kirk’s work and life has exploded all over the world. During a livestreamed session, his widow, Erika Kirk encouraged youth to get involved with TPUSA, adding that their annual AmericaFest conference would happen as scheduled in Phoenix in December.
Turning Point USA explosive growth: Turning Point USA has grown significantly after Charlie Kirk’s death. Within just eight days following his assassination on September 10, 2025, the organization received more than 62,000 new student sign-ups, a surge of enthusiasm from high school and college students wanting to start or join chapters.
The group currently has about 900 college chapters and 1,200 high school chapters, and this influx far exceeds previous engagement levels. Additionally, the organization has seen hundreds of people applying for jobs or volunteering to help continue Kirk’s mission.
“To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die,” Kirk said. “It won’t. I refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband’s name. And I will make sure of it. It will become stronger. Bolder. Louder and greater than ever. My husband’s mission will not end. Not even for a moment.”

Turning Point USA explosive growth: Fox: Judah Waxelbaum, a former campus activist at Arizona State University for Republican causes, said that the assassination likely awoke a “sleeping giant” with the current size of TPUSA.
“Turning Point’s not going anywhere. Turning Point, I think, will probably actually get significantly larger in the wake of what happened to Charlie,” he told Fox News Digital in an interview on Saturday, noting that “you couldn’t do youth politics in Arizona, really anywhere in the United States without coming across Charlie Kirk.”

Turning Point USA explosive growth: “They do incredible work with mobilizing and getting voters out there and chasing the vote. And they’re going to be energized. They have to be, and it’s what Charlie would have wanted,” Waxelbaum said.
“No one who admires Charlie Kirk is walking away from electioneering or what we’re doing in the youth space. And in a lot of ways, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve woken up a sleeping giant,” he added.
Thousands across the U.S. have gathered on university campuses, in prayer and grief of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. There has been vigils with candlelights, prayer services, NFL teams such as the Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys have had moments of silence during week two of the regular season.
