Muslim majority countries are authoritarian: The link between Islamic doctrine and authoritarian governance is an overwhelming trend the world over. Western democracies struggle to reconcile liberal values with Islamic fundamentalism and end up creating parallel societies in the West with little or no integration into the host society.
The Islamic groups end up constituting clusters of isolated sub-groups that live completely separately from the ethnic, indigenous Europeans. Very often the way of life is so different that ethnic Europeans and the incoming Muslim population constitute almost totally different worlds, with very few joint standpoints or views. This is an extremely worrying trend that now permeates the European continent, country after country.
Muslim majority countries are authoritarian: For example, the majority of UK Muslims support Islamic Sharia law as a national principle. The finding that approximately 75% of UK Muslims would accept Sharia law as the national law challenges the assumption that most Muslims in Western countries align with secular liberal values. This divide complicates integration policies and raises concerns about future societal cohesion.
The silence or complicity of moderate Muslims in criminal activities is a critical issue. The UAE’s approach to extremism highlights a contrasting model to Western tolerance.

Muslim majority countries are authoritarian: The conversation also addresses the issue of Islamic fundamentalism’s impact on Western societies, especially in the UK, where horrific crimes committed by members of certain Muslim communities have been linked to cultural and religious factors.
The speaker points out that a significant majority of UK Muslims reportedly support the implementation of Sharia law and the establishment of Islam as the national religion, casting doubt on the notion of widespread moderation within these communities. This creates a dilemma for Western democracies that prioritize women’s rights and liberal freedoms.
Jordan Peterson highlights a critical failure where moderate members of Muslim communities do not vocally oppose or report criminal activities linked to fundamentalism, such as the rape gangs in the UK. This silence is portrayed as complicity, which undermines community trust and fuels social conflict.
Jordan Peterson’s willingness to engage in discourse on this flammable topic, also on a positive view of Tommy Robinson’s work as he has spent years attempting to warn the public regarding the rape gang scandals ongoing in the UK, marks a turning point for discussions in the West.
It is in clear contrast with the prevalent culture of censorship and de-platforming that has been prevalent for many years, forcefully enforced by the Marxist political left. Watch the program here.
