The Free Palestine protesters are backed by a surprising source: Biden’s biggest donors. Some of the most outspoken groups against Biden and Israel get funding from foundations attached to some of the biggest names in Democratic circles.
Joe Biden was the subject of ongoing criticism from Free Palestine protesters who have referred to him as “Genocide Joe.” However, some of the groups behind these demonstrations received financial support from the very same billionaire donors who also actively promoted the reelection of Joe Biden.
The donors include prominent figures in Democratic politics: According to a Politico analysis, the funding was provided by Soros, Rockefeller, and Pritzker.
Free Palestine protesters funded by Soros: Two of the organizations supporting the protests at Columbia University and on other campuses are Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow. Both organizations are supported by the Tides Foundation, which is seeded by Democratic megadonor George Soros and was previously supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It also supports numerous small nonprofits that work for social change, according to Politico.
Free Palestine protesters funded by Soros: “The campus protests are driven by young people’s outrage at the US’s complicity in the horrors in Gaza,” stated Matan Arad-Neeman, deputy communications director for IfNotNow. “To suggest that Jewish organizations, supported by Jewish funders, are orchestrating the protests is a baseless and incendiary antisemitic allegation.”
Another noteworthy Democratic donor is David Rockefeller Jr., who serves on the board of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. It has contributed nearly $500,000 directly to Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization that openly identifies as anti-Zionist, over the past five years. Rockefeller Brothers has provided grants to both the Tides Foundation and the Tides Center.

Free Palestine protesters funded by Soros: Several other groups involved in pro-Palestinian protests are backed by a foundation funded by Susan and Nick Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt Hotel empire. These groups have also expressed support for Biden and numerous Democratic campaigns, including a contribution of $6,600 to the Biden Victory Fund a few months ago and more than $300,000 during the 2020 campaign.
Bestselling author and journalist, Glenn Beck has pointed out that investigations reveal that George Soros’s Open Society Foundations have funneled over $80 million to at least 54 groups involved in criminal activities, domestic terrorism, or pro-terrorism advocacy within the United States.
Of the extensive financial support from George Soros to radical groups, more than $23 million have been directed specifically to at least seven organizations that meet the FBI’s definition of domestic terrorism, including involvement in rioting and violent protests.
The financial trails, as documented in Soros’s own records, confirm a systematic and deliberate pattern of funding groups that engage in or promote violence, rioting, and terrorism on U.S. soil.
The evidence compiled supports the use of federal statutes such as RICO to hold Soros’s network accountable for their roles in sustaining criminal enterprises and terror activities. Tax-exempt nonprofit statuses are a crucial leverage point; rescinding these would disrupt funding and operational capabilities of extremist groups.
One highlighted organization, the Center for Third World Organizing, received approximately $400,000 and is noted for training thousands of individuals involved in violent uprisings, including those in Minnesota. Many of these organizations produce and distribute “activism toolkits” or protest guides that covertly endorse illegal activities such as property destruction, use of false identification, violent tactics, and obstruction of justice.
These toolkits often include hyperlinks to anarchist and extremist websites that further promote such illegal and violent actions, indicating deliberate intent.
Organizations such as these have played direct roles in violent uprisings, including recent events, and maintain connections to foreign terrorist groups, signaling a significant national security threat. The presence of explicit instructions for illegal behavior within their materials underscores a clear intention to incite and perpetuate violence.
