Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced this week that Facebook and Instagram will stop “Fact Checking”. He admits the third-party organizations have misused the position to censor those opposed to the Woke socialist ideology.
That means conservatives and others who pose questions to the current Marxist narrative that is sweepingly controlling the Western mainstream narrative.
META getting rid of Fact Checkers: As for The Herland Report, we have been subjected to heavy censorship both on Facebook and in the Google algorithm for years. Starting the fall of 2017, the Soviet style censorship against those who speak positively about Western traditions, religion, its family structure, the church, Christianity and traditional capitalism – has been massive, writes historian Hanne Nabintu Herland. Zuckerberg now announces that the company’s approach of “moderating” comments too often ended up in censorship. The dramatic change of heart is remarkable.
META getting rid of Fact Checkers: Using the term “the legacy media”, Zuckerberg points out that the allegation of “misinformation as a threat to democracy” has been politically biased and has ended up destroying more trust than it created.
The 2020 election and the response to the Covid-19 outbreak, censoring anyone who posed critical comments or questions to those in power, accelerated the feeling of Soviet style censorship.

META getting rid of Fact Checkers: The banning of president Donald Trump from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, after the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol, documented the US sharp turn towards pure communism.
” In recent years, fact checkers, researchers of false narratives, and social media content moderation programs have become targets of Republican-led Congressional probes and legal challenges,” writes NPR:
“Zuckerberg said his views on content moderation have changed. Meta has made “too many mistakes” in how it applied its content policies, he said, and pointed to Trump’s election to a second term as “a cultural tipping point towards once again prioritizing speech.” “So we are going to get back to our roots, focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies, and restoring free expression on our platforms,” he said.”
If the changes will truly be implemented, it will reflect a tectonic shift in the US under Trump. If free speech is reimplemented and the current communist tactics abandoned, it could well mean a new dawn for the American democracy.
The move comes as Meta and other tech companies are working to smooth what has been a rocky relationship with Trump. The president-elect and other Republicans have long accused Silicon Valley of harboring anti-conservative bias that has muzzled their speech online. Trump has accused Zuckerberg personally of election interference and threatened him with life in prison.
