In this exclusive interview, Dr. Paul says: “When I bring up the subject of politicians taking away people’s personal freedoms when imposing low interest rates, they say “well, they don’t know how to take care of themselves”. They actually believe that, that they are ordained to take care of people.”
“I can recall asking two different chairmen of the Federal Reserve board, “what you’re doing with these low interest rates is that you are punishing the people who want to save money, work hard, take care of themselves in old age.”

“There is so much hypocrisy, they don’t have empathy for the people.”
“I think the only system of government that can show real empathy is a government and a people who recognize what personal liberty is all about.”
“To allow people to have their liberties, to make their own mistakes, and allow to resume the responsibility and reap the rewards of the work they do. That system has proven to be the best system ever, and yet it is under attack systematically right now.”
